January 7, 2010 - New CJA Panel Resource

The Office of Defender Services Training Branch has created a National Litigation Support Resources page. It is our hope that it will be a resource for Defender staff and CJA panel attorneys when facing cases with large volumes of discovery and/or electronic discovery.

December 14, 2009 - More New Additions to the Staff

Welcome to Harvey Gee, Peter Moyers, and Vickie Piontkowski. Harvey has taken the position of research and writing specialist in our Capital Habeas Unit, Peter will be serving in the same post for our Traditional Unit, and Vickie Piontkowski is our mitigation specialist in our Traditional Unit.

October 5, 2009 - New Staff Members

We are pleased to welcome three new staff members to our Pittsburgh office:

• Kirk Henderson is a new Assistant Federal Public Defender in our Capital Habeas Unit.
• Akin Adepoju joins us as a Research & Writing Specialist in our traditional unit.
• Elise Evans supports the Pittsburgh, Erie, and Johnstown offices as the Assistant Computer Systems Administrator.

July 1, 2009 - Pittsburgh Office Moves to New Space
